Learn how to resolve otherwise deadlocked conflicts and transform a good deal into a great one!
People often view negotiation as a two-way street where one party wins while the other loses. The truth is it can be so much more. A successful negotiation is a balancing act between claiming and creating value. This balance is critical yet often misunderstood. Value creation can help resolve otherwise deadlocked conflicts and transform a good deal into a great one. Value creation occurs when solutions are found that benefit both parties or at least benefit one without making the other worse off.
In this workshop, we will explore win-win negotiation, how to approach a negotiation with a win-win mindset, and how to unlock the potential for discovering common interests that lead to both parties leaving the table shaking hands, smiling, and feeling pleased they worked together to make the best possible deal for both parties.
